A great way to be involved with your kids at Junior Surf is by
being a coach or assisting the coaching team. The Junior squad is
divided into groups which is based on child age and ability. Each
group is assigned a coach for the season who will work in
conjunction with the Junior Coordinator and be responsible for
his/her team. Junior surf coaches are often parents of junior surf
kids, and find their envolvement very rewarding. No previous
lifeguard experience is necessary, just a willingness to help out
and get invloved.
Our Junior surf coaches are trained to ensure they have the
skills required applicable to the age group they are coaching.
