Spencer Park Surf Life Saving Club is located on the beach amongst the popular recreational area of Spencer Park and Bottle Lake Forrest only 20 minutes drive from central Christchurch. This expansive park area houses the largest camping ground and network of mountain bike and walk / running tracks within the Christchurch region and also hosts many other recreational activities.

The Clubhouse is situated approximately half way along a 10km stretch of soft sandy beach adjacent to Spencer Holiday Park and picnic areas and is easily accessible by main road via the community of Spencerville.

Spencer Park SLSC prides itself on providing highly skilled Surf Lifeguards who patrol the beach for the safety of the public. We also provide junior development and senior Surf Sports programmes meeting the demands of lifeguards' skills and talent who compete in many local and national Surf Life Saving events.
